The ward has 20 beds.
The ward performs surgery with different volume and complexity including such with very high volume and complexity of malignant and non-malignant tumors and precancerous.
The equipment meets the requirements of the standards in surgery, the team is highly qualified .
The ward carries preoperative preparation and postoperative treatment and care for the patients.
Preoperative activity:
If needed consults with other specialists are performed: neurologist, endocrinologist, etc.
Purpose – assessment of the necessity of surgical intervention and its volume.
Post surgery, the patients are admitted at the Anesthesiology and intensive treatment ward.
Scheduled and emergency conventional operative interventions in case of diseases of:
In case of malignant tumors the principles of multidisciplinary approach in the fight against cancer are strictly observed.

In 1992 completed higher medical education at Medical university – Pleven.
In 1999 he acquired major in Surgery.
He has qualification in Health management an higher education in Public administration.
1993 – 2013 -surgeon oncologist at COC Ruse EOOD.
In 2013 works as surgeon, surgical ward, at MHAT – Ruse
Since 2014 he is Chief of the Surgical oncology ward at COC Ruse EOOD.
In 1996 completed higher medical education at the Medical University of Varna.
In 2008 he acquires major in Surgery.
