Any good therapy begins with a timely and properly diagnosed pathology diagnosis. The Clinical Pathology Department is an indispensable part of the team that makes the diagnosis, staging and treatment of the patients by:

Emergency Intraoperative Diagnosis /Ghephrir/
Cytological examinations from hollow organs, superficial skin lesions, materials obtained by fine needle aspiration biopsy, from lavage fluid or segregation spontaneously. Gynecological cytoplasm.
Histological tests of a wide range of diseases – surgical, gynecological, gastroenterological, bronchopulmonary, dermatological, otorhinolaryngologic, urological, etc.
Immunohistochemical tests- HER 2 status in breast and gastric carcinoma, Estrogen and Progesterone receptors.

In 1996 she acquires major in General and Clinical Pathology at the Medical Academy in Sofia.

In 2001 she acquires an additional major in Cytopatology at the Medical Academy in Sofia.

From 1990 to 2003 she works as a pathologist at the Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment in Veliko Tarnovo.

From 2003 to 2014 she works as a pathologist at the Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment in Ruse.

From 2014 she is Head of the Clinical Pathology Departmentat the Complex Oncological Center-Ruse PLtd.
